Welcome to Koha. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Koha platform, including our mobile applications and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using Koha, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.
Koha provides an online platform that connects customers with beauty and wellness service providers ("Salons"). Our Service includes: a marketplace for discovering and booking appointments with Salons, tools for Salons to manage their business operations, secure payment processing through third-party providers, communication features between customers and Salons, and reviews and ratings for service providers. Koha acts solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between customers and Salons. We are not a party to the service agreements between customers and Salons.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Koha. By using our Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and to respect the rights of other users and Salons on the platform.
Koha may charge service fees for using the platform. All applicable fees will be clearly displayed before you complete a booking. Prices are shown in your local currency and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred. You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information. Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of the specific Salon. Koha service fees may be refundable at our discretion depending on the circumstances. Please review the Salon's cancellation policy before booking.
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to your appointment history and saved preferences. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Koha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Switzerland. We will attempt to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.
